Housekeeper position for a family of four in Uranienborg

We are a family of four living in Uranienborg, Oslo, with two older children (15 and 17). We need help with household tasks for about 10 hours per week.

Main duties include laundry and ironing, keeping the apartment tidy, making beds, loading/unloading the dishwasher, watering plants, and similar tasks.

If desired, the role can be expanded to include grocery shopping and cooking a couple of times per week. We already have a weekly cleaner, so regular house cleaning is not part of the job.

Working hours are flexible but should be on weekdays during daytime—for example 3–4 hours on late morning on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

A 30 m² studio apartment next door can be rented at a good price. We prefer to keep rental and employment separate but are open to discussing housing as part of the compensation.

Our previous housekeeper (leaving for a full-time job) has lived in the studio with her husband for four years and can provide a reference. We also prefer that you can provide references.

We are looking for someone reliable, flexible, and self-motivated who enjoys household work. You must speak Norwegian or English and be able to follow instructions carefully. You must have a valid work permit for Norway, and the work will be registered and paid officially.

You should be available for at least one year, preferably longer. The role may grow over time with more hours and possibly "house manager" responsibilities if of interest.

This job can be combined with studies or another part-time job, but full-time students must have strong time-management skills.

Salary will be agreed upon. We hope to hire someone as soon as possible.
